Falmouth-based marketing manager Ellie Bradshaw has collected a prestigious travel industry "Oscar" at a glittering London awards ceremony at the Savoy Hotel.
Her campaign, "FANtastic Summer" for Corus hotels scooped the Hotel Marketing Association prize for the best fully integrated marketing campaign in 2003.
Ellie, 32, is Corus hotels' marketing projects manager and this is the second time she has helped the company triumph after previously claiming the prize in 2001.
Ellie, who travelled to the event with her husband Graham, a partner with Kernow Entertainments of Falmouth, was delighted with the win.
She said: "It's a great honour to receive industry recognition and especially to win the award a second time. The campaign showed our ability to gain market share in what has been a difficult and very competitive market.
"It was a huge success and shows what can be achieved when all areas of marketing are working closely together."
Ellie grew up in Devoran and went to school in Truro before taking a catering diploma at Cornwall College.
She worked at the Falmouth Hotel and then the St Michael's Hotel, Falmouth, where she became sales and marketing manager. She has worked for Corus hotels - who have more than 65 hotels and 350 meeting rooms in the UK - for the past seven years.
Ellie recently graduated from Cornwall Business School with a Chartered Institute of Marketing Post-Graduate Diploma.
