Naval Task Force comprising of the destroyer HMS Liverpool D92 (4,100/82), frigates HMS Cornwall F99 (4,900/89), HMS Iron Duke F234 (4,200/93), HMS Marlborough F233 (4,200/91), the French warships Commandant Blauison F793 (1,250/82) and Primauguet D644 (4,300/86), the Spanish frigate Baleares F71 (3,350/73), the Dutch frigate HMNLS Van Nes F833 (3,320/94) and British replenishment vessels RFA Fort George A388 (28,821/93) and RFA Wave Ruler A390 (23,294/02) all sailed from Falmouth Bay on exercise. HMS Shoreham sailed from the bay and the RMAS Tormentor A142 (698/80) sailed from the docks. British coastal tanker Whitstar (1,116/68) arrived from the Mersey and berthed at the FOS terminal to fuel oil to commence the bunkering operation. Later in the afternoon the RFA Fort George, HMS Shoreham and HMS Sandown all anchored in the bay.
Wednesday, January 21
British coaster Hoomoss (794/85) berthed at Dean to load stone and sailed for Rye. British coaster Hoocrest (794/86) arrived from Plymouth and loaded at Dean Quarry for Ipswich. Royal navy minehunters HMS Shoreham M112 (484/01) and HMS Sandown M101 (484/89) berthed alongside the County Wharf and sailed within hours for the bay. German coaster Ute (1,528/84) sailed from Truro for Lorient with a cargo of calcified seaweed. Irish stern trawler fish factory vessel Atlantic Dawn (14,055/00) arrived from Cork for bunkers in the bay. Georgian cargo vessel Nino S (2,709/74) arrived from Plymouth for bunkers in the bay. Hoo Swan (794/86) arrived from Newhaven to load stone at Porthoustock and sailed for Douglas, Isle of Man. Antiguan coaster Jackie Moon (1,616/86) arrived from Belfast and berthed at Lighterage Quay, Truro.
Thursday, January 22
Antiguan flagged cargo vessel German (3,585/92) arrived from Radicatel, France for bunkers and sailed for Waterford. Latvian coaster Sea Fox (2,219/74) moved from the County Wharf to the Queens Wharf. Atlantic Dawn sailed for Ijmuiden, Holland. British ro-pax ferry Pride of Aquitaine (28,833/92) arrived from Dover and berthed alongside the County Wharf. Singapore LPG tanker Ascot (5,255/01) arrived from the Tees for bunkers. Honduran cement carrier Cementina (899/60) arrived from Bremen, Germany, and anchored in the bay. Pride of Bilbao (37,583/86) undocked from number 2 drydock berthed alongside the County Wharf. Pride of Aquitaine sailed from the docks to the bay to await a drydock.
Friday, January 23
Nino S sailed for Tartous, Syria. Cementina berthed at Lighterage Quay, Truro. Ascot sailed for Ambes, France. Pride of Aquitaine docked in No. 2 dry-dock for her annual refit. Jackie Moon sailed from Truro for Antwerp loaded with scrap. Bahamas registered coaster Pongo (664/82) undocked from No. 4 dry-dock and anchored in the Carrick Roads. Panamanian tanker Spear 1 (17,779/75) arrived from Foynes, Ireland for bunkers and sailed for Ventspils, Latvia. Antiguan flagged coaster Hanse (1,508/90) arrived from Dunball Wharf, Bridgewater and berthed at Dean Quarry to load stone for Dagenham. Panamanian bulker Frontier (76,925/92) arrived from Port Talbot, South Wales for bunkers in the bay.
Saturday, January 24
Pongo sailed for Poland. British coaster Hoo Falcon (1,382/91) arrived from Belfast to load stone at Dean Quarry and sailed for Erith. British coastal tanker Audacity (2,965/97) arrived from Milford Haven and anchored in the bay. Frontier sailed for Tubarao, Brazil. Danish trawler Orkama F.532 (702/80) arrived from sea, and berthed in the docks.
Sunday, January 25
Audacity berthed alongside the Eastern Arm to discharge petroleum products and sailed later for Milford Haven. Russian salvage tug Neftegaz-57 (2,723/87) arrived from Mounts Bay and anchored in the bay. Dutch coaster Fast Jef (2,066/96) arrived from Belfast and anchored in the bay and sailed later for the Thames.
Monday, January 26
HMS Sandown M101 and HMS Shoreham M112 anchored in the bay. The tanker Ametist (2,728/93) arrived from Eastham to discharge at the FOS terminal. Maltese reefer Baltic Cliff (7,949/85) arrived from Guayaquil, Ecuador for bunkers in the Roiads and sailed for St Petersburg. Neftegaz-57 and RMAS Tormentor A142 berthed alongside the Queens Wharf. HMS Sandown berthed alongside the Northern Arm and sailed again for the bay. Liberian tanker Montana Blue (22,620/91) anchored in the bay to carry out engine repairs.
