Ilminster'S five match league winning run was halted when they were comprehensively beaten by Somerset County League Division One leaders Cheddar.
It was the Blues' first league defeat since October 25, when they lost 1-0 at Shirehampton and sees them drop to third in the table.
An experienced Cheddar side, which contained a number of former Western League players, simply had too much know how for Ilminster who had striker Simon Manley red-carded in the first half.
Final score at the tie on January 24: Ilminster 0, Cheddar 3. Full report and photo in today's News (January 28).
