TESCO bosses are putting the final touches to an application to extend the firm's Taunton store and to increase the number of customer parking spaces.
Consultants are drawing up two proposals before approaching Taunton Deane Council planners next month.
The firm wants to expand the shopping area of the store in Wellington Road over two floors and introduce some form of decking in the parking area to relieve problems in the car park.
