Exeter City boss Eamonn Dolan has revealed that he tried to sign Yeovil striker Kurt Jackson on loan earlier in the season - but had the move blocked by the Nationawide Conference.
Jackson, who has since joined Dagenham and Redbridge on loan and who played against the Grecians last week when City beat their Conference rivals 2-0, is a striker that Dolan knows well, and with both Steve Flack and Sean Devine injured recently, City's boss felt that he would fit the bill as a temporary replacement.
But City are under an embargo because of their financial situation, and the Conference wouldn't budge on its decision.
