IT SHOULD now be just a matter of weeks before the Government reveals whether a multi-million pound bid to transform Bridgwater's schooling is successful.
As reported in the Mercury, Somerset County Council has proposed that the town should be the site of a revolutionary new school system featuring three learning centres instead of the secondary, special and primary schools scattered around the town.
Bridgwater would be the guinea pig for an experiment, which could transform the way schools operate across the country.
