WELLINGTON man David Robson is set for another court appearance on murder charges next Friday.
Mr Robson is accused of killing Steve Bowden with a single gunshot to the head at the Sanford Arms pub in South Street, on the night of October 29, last year.
He was committed to Exeter Crown Court by Taunton Deane magistrates on November 1 and appeared for a preliminary hearing on November 7.
Next week's proceedings will be the first opportunity Mr Robson has had to publicly enter a plea of guilty or not guilty.
He faces a mandatory life sentence if he pleads guilty to murder.
A not guilty plea will result in the 47-year-old, who spent his birthday in prison on Wednesday, being tried by a jury.
