Local Cornish Moto-X riders and supporters held a meeting at The White House Inn, Penhallow, to discuss the revival of the Cornwall Motocross Club.
The meeting, instigated by local motocrosser John Dingle, was chaired by club chairman Alan Jenkins and advised by Cornwall Centre ACU chairman John Stone to discuss the possibility of holding a motocross at a track situated near Portloe, Veryan, in memory of local motorcycle enthusiast Colin Wolczuk who died recently
Any proceeds from the event would be donated to Cornwall Air Ambulance.
The meeting was attended by a large number of riders and supporters including local motorcross stars Jamie Walker and Steve Liddington and Falmouth all-rounder Jason Fraser.
It was decided to hold the event on February29 with the first race at midday. Children under 14 years can get in free and adult entry was set at £2.
Cornwall Motocross Club will be holding it's next meeting at The White House Inn, Penhallow, on the February 1 to discuss the event further and invites anyone who wishes to be part of this and future events to attend.
