Negotiations into who is going to run the Moor in Falmouth are still going very slowly.
Falmouth town council and Carrick district council have been in negotiations for more than a year now over the issue but a contract has still not been signed.
Town clerk Mark Williams said: "There are a couple of sticking points which members are not happy about."
The two councils cannot agree on yet who should take responsibility for repairing the lights or fountain. Town councillors want everything working on the Moor before they sign any contract.
Mr Williams said he thinks the councils are now close to resolving the matter and plans to call a special meeting shortly of all the members involved, so a final contract can be worked out.
