A planning inspector is understood to have visited a site at Roskrow Barton Farm, Roskrow this week where the erection of two 70-metre high wind turbines has been proposed.
The application for the turbines, submitted by Mr and Mrs David Toms, has been rejected twice and is now at appeal stage.
If approved, the turbines would be sited high on a ridge overlooking Falmouth and Penryn.
The inspector's findings are expected to be known in around a month.
