After a blank Saturday last weekend due to saturated pitches at Falmouth and Hayle, both of Falmouth's senior sides will be hoping for better luck, weatherwise, this Saturday.
The "Chiefs" are at home to Wadebridge in an important Cornwall and Devon League game, sponsored by The Warehouse Bistro, while the "A" team take on the Wadebridge second string in North Cornwall.
The game at the Recreation Ground will be crucial for both teams as they are very close to each other in terms of league position and both will view this match as one which should be won.
Falmouth have the home advantage, but Wadebridge won the first match by a clear margin and will be fancying their chances to complete the double.
This has the makings of a tight, hard-fought encounter with valuable league points at stake for either team to pull away from the relegation zone. The Falmouth team will be announced after training on Thursday.
The "A" team will be keen to return to action after missing the games against Bude and Hayle and will be looking to repeat the victory they secured over Wadebridge 2nd XV way back in October.
Hopefully a full squad of players will be available and, as usual, selection will take place on Thursday.
The team will meet at 12.30 pm on Saturday at the Recreation Ground before departing for Wadebridge.
