POLICE are appealing for information after a large amount of horse tack was stolen from a farm at Eastertown, near Lympsham.
The theft happened sometime between 5.30pm on January 15 and 8.55am the next day.
The thieves broke into a locked stable and stole the tack valued at around £8,000.
Items taken include 10 brown and black saddles, 18 brown and black bridles and other tack and equipment.
Five of the saddles had names on them including Chunky, Spring, Kurri and Quale.
Police would like to speak to anyone who may have been offered the tack for sale or who may have witnessed the break-in at the farm which is near the busy A370.
