The University of Bristol is teaming up with the Foods Standards Agency to investigate the benefits of certain dietary supplements on health and wellbeing.
To help with the research the University is looking for 200 people, from the Bristol area, to take part in the study.
Prior to taking part, volunteers will be asked to complete two short questionnaires to make sure they are suitable for the study, focusing on diet, health and wellbeing.
All volunteers will receive a copy of the final study results.
Dr Katherine Appleton, a researcher in Experimental Psychology, said: 'A healthy diet is important for both physical and psychological health and wellbeing.
'Healthy diets, however, can be difficult to achieve, resulting in many of us turning to dietary supplements as a way of maintaining a healthy lifestyle.'
Volunteers will have their expenses paid, and will be free to withdraw at any time. All data collected will be kept confidential and anonymous.
If you wish to take part or have further questions about the study, contact Dr Katherine Appleton on 0117 954 6618 or email
