Yeovil Town keeper Chris Weale has been invited to West Ham United for a couple of days at the request of the Hammers' manager Alan Pardew.
Pardew and Yeovil boss Gary Johnson agreed to the situation because Nationwide League Division One outfit West Ham had been following Weale's progress for sometime.
The move has arisen due to the position West Ham now find themselves in following the sale of England keeper David James to Premiership side Manchester City.
Johnson said: "Obviously with West Ham in the hunt for a new goalkeeper this is a great opportunity for Chris and I would not dream of standing in his way. We'll see what comes of it."
