Minehead veteran Keith Graddon has been suspended for 21 days by the Somerset FA's disciplinary committee (writes Barry Knott).

Graddon, who can play almost anywhere, was sent off against Ilfracombe Town at the end of last year.

He starts his ban on February 2 which means he will be available for Minehead's Screwfix League first division match away to Weston St Johns tomorrow.

And he looks almost certain to be pushed up into the attack to replace Gary Bennett who is unavailable because he is attending a wedding.

Minehead's joint player-manager Charlie Lewis admits he has been disappointed with only two points from a possible nine in the last three home games.

But he remains optimistic and added: "We must look forward, not back. Our aim at the beginning of the season was not to be involved in a relegation dogfight this season and maybe finish halfway up the table.
