The top three teams in Division I of the West Cornwall Winter Pool League all won 8-1 last week, but all three teams lost the last frame to miss out on getting the whitewash.
Leaders Wendron CC defeated the Godolphin Club, second placed Kennack A defeated Helston RBL A and Helston RBL B defeated the Angel.
Helston FC B continued their better form with a 6-3 win over the Prince of Wales while Porthleven FC defeated the Old Courthouse 7-2.
The Mounts Bay moved up the table with a 5-4 win over the Fitzsimmons Arms and a 5-4 win over the Prince of Wales before Christmas.
The Coach & Horses B team moved back to the top of Division II with a 7-2 win over the Crown Inn while Helston RBL C moved close behind the top two with a 7-2 win over Coach & Horses A thanks to wins from Adie Butcher, Matt Stephens, Wayne Tucker and Wally Smith.
The Three Tuns are still going well, they defeated the Star Inn 6-3 and the Bell Inn won all six singles in their 7-2 win over the Harbour.
Lizard FC A won 6-3 against Kennack B while Paris A beat their B team 5-4.
Last week's top two played each other in Division III and the Tophouse defeated the Godolphin Club 6-3 to hold a four point lead. Kennack D moved in to second spot with a superb 8-1 win over the Fitzsimmons B side while wins from Lee Opie, Dean Williams, L Wallis and Nick Haywood helped the Fitzsimmons A team to a 6-3 win over the Gweek Inn.
The Queens Arms had a superb 5-4 win over leaders, Constantine SC in Division IV and this helped the Angel catch up a few points in second as they defeated the White Hart 7-2.
Helston RBL D moved into third spot with a 5-4 win and 5-4 loss while wins from Rob Jones, Daniel Stidwell, Dean Bray and Ann Penrose helped Porthleven FC B to a 5-4 win over the Lion & Lamb A team.
The Harbour came from 2-1 down to defeat the Lion & Lamb B team 5-4.
