Again this year the Penryn Christmas lights have shone brightly. Thanks must go to Coun Derek Prynn and his erection team, Falmouth and Penryn Lions Club (for providing the town's Christmas tree), St Ives Steeplejacks, Penryn town council, Penryn Infant School, Penryn Junior School Choir, Penryn Rotary Club, Ryall's Newsagents, Pendennis Brass, Les Rundle (for making the new set pieces), Alan Giles our electrician, Penryn Convenience Stores for the raffle, HMS Seahawk Volunteer Band and Packet Newspapers for their support. Thanks also to everyone on the town's lighting committee and, above all, the people of our town for their wonderful support. Coun J S Ashwin, chairman Christmas Lighting Committee.
