One of Cornwall's most spectacular spring garden, Caerhays Castle Gardens has announced its opening hours for 2004.
This privately owned estate has long been held in high esteem by gardeners from around the world.
Caerhays, which is still the home of the Williams family, is most famous for its breathtaking displays of enormous tree Magnolias, Rhododendrons and Camellias - and these are at the peak of their flowering glory in March, April and May. In recognition of its importance, Caerhays has National Collection status for its Magnolias and visitors should look out for some yellow magnolias in Spring 2004.
Uniquely, for a privately owned garden, the castle is also open and there are stunning views over the gardens and out to sea.
The gardens are open to the public from February May 16 - 31, from 10am-5pm, seven days a week (last entry at 4:30pm).
The castle is open from March 15 - May 31, from 1pm - 4pm, Monday-Friday.
