A Chard town councillor has called for new efforts to get CCTV after his car was vandalised in a town centre car park.
Cllr Phil Fitzgerald said the town council should investigate as many solutions as possible to the problem of vandalism in the town.
His Austin Maestro was attacked sometime between 7.10pm on Tuesday evening and 7am on Wednesday morning (January 13/14).
He left the car in the Lace Mill car park overnight, after attending a meeting of Chard Town Council.
