Exeter made it through to the fourth round of the FA Trophy on Saturday with a good 3-2 win over Hereford United. It was the third time they had played their fellow Football League mates in three weeks and they completed the full array of results.
In the League over Christmas United beat City 1-0, and then they played out a draw, before the Grecians weekend win.
But all the goals came in the last 15 minutes, with going 2-0 up with goals from Sean Devine on 75 minutes and James Coppinger on 78.
But Hereford managed to get two back on 82 minutes and 85, before Gareth Sheldon became the hero following his 88th minute winner. The Grecians will now travel to Norfolk to meet King's Lynn.
