Minehead have called up young striker Paul Smith for tomorrow's Screwfix League first division match at home to Shepton Mallet (3.00).
Smith has been scoring regularly this season for Minehead Reserves who are topping the third division in the Taunton Saturday League.
He will not be in the starting line-up but Minehead hope to "have a look at him sometime in the game."
He would also be a ready replacement for Gary Bennett who is unavailable the following week.
"It's our duty to have a look at him if he has been playing well in the reserves," said Minehead's joint player-manager Charlie Lewis last night.
Having only taken one point from their two previous home games, Minehead will not want to slip up against bottom side Shepton Mallet.
