People wanting to kick start the New Year with a new sport or hobby can now find out what's on offer in the city at the click of a button.
More than a thousand sports clubs, social clubs, community centres, support groups, youth groups and fundraising organisations have signed up to a new online directory launched by Plymouth City Council.
The directory, developed by the Council's Sports Development Unit and Plymouth Library Services, gives information on a wide range of activities, from ballroom dancing to Tae Kwon Do.
Councillor Peter Smith, Portfolio Holder for Sport, Leisure and Culture said: 'The new directory provides a comprehensive and user-friendly 'one-stop shop' for everyone.
'Sports professionals, administrators, clubs, parents, teachers and young people can find out all about the many activities and sporting opportunities on offer across the city.
'We are keen to register as many clubs as possible - it gives them a great opportunity to promote what they do and recruit new members and they can also include links to and from their own websites.'
The directory can be found at www.plymouthsport.info under 'clubs and societies'.
