The 79 clubs in the Jolly's Drinks Cornwall Cricket League gather at Truro on January 14 for the 2004 annual general meeting. The agenda includes the usual varied proposed alterations and amendments to rules. They include:
* Non rearrangement of all league fixtures due to bad weather or playing conditions with clubs receiving six points apiece.
* No restrictions on professionals or overseas players.
* An umpire and scorer recruitment scheme, in a bid to reduce the fall in umpire numbers.
* All Cclubs must have a certificated child protection officer.
* The Vinter and Hawkey Cup competitions to be played under a single set of rules.
* The introduction of fielding circles in Premier and County Division One games.
* Games to start at 1.30pm from the second Saturday in August, outside of the Premier League
