MEMBERS of Falmouth Green Centre braved the cold to hold their annual Winter Fair on The Moor.
It was a chance for the public to buy some of the centre's waste wood products, including bird and bat boxes, compost bins, candle holders and wooden chests, and learn a little more about environmental awareness.
"It went down very well," said co-ordinator Guy Doncaster. "A lot of people showed interest in our products, but it was rather cold in the afternoon."
On display alongside a special tent set up for the fair was an interactive waste exhibition, instructing people how to re-use their rubbish. This was provided by BTCV, the UK's leading practical conservation charity.
Money raised from the event would go back into supporting the Green Centre and its activities, said Mr Doncaster.
