Friday, January 2
Brabourne berthed on the Eastern Arm to load the remainder of the Texaco bunkering fuel. Comoros flagged reefer Mabrookah (4,687/80) arrived from St Petersburg to anchor in the bay and sailed later for Agadir, Morroco. Danish chemical tanker Dagmar Therese (2,654/01) arrived from Milford Haven and anchored in the bay. Barbados flagged coaster Union Topaz (1,545/85) arrived from Hamburg and anchored in the bay.
Saturday, January 3
Dagmar Therese berthed alongside Eastern Arm to discharge. British super liner Queen Mary 2 (148,528/03) arrived from Southampton and anchored south of Pendennis Point to carry out crew training and sailed for Southampton. Brabourne sailed from the docks for Cardiff. Dagmar Therese sailed for Whitegate, Ireland to load for Plymouth. Cypriot oil tanker Sea Merchant (18,625/91) arrived from Immingham and anchored in the bay.
Sunday, January 4
Sea Merchant berthed alongside the Eastern Arm to discharge a part cargo of bunkering fuel. St Vincent registered cruise ship Van Gogh (15,402/75) arrived from Funchal, Madeira at the end of her Christmas Cruise and berthed alongside the County Wharf. Cayman Islands flagged motor yacht Octopus arrived from Kristiansand, Norway and anchored in the Carrick Roads. British coaster Hoo Dolphin (794/86) berthed at Porthoustock to load a cargo of stone and sailed for Newhaven. Van Gogh sailed for Lisbon on the first of three Caribbean cruises. Octopus embarked crew and stores and sailed from the Carrick Roads for Funchal, Madeira.
Monday, January 5
Union Topaz berthed alongside at the docks to discharge fertiliser. Sea Merchant sailed from the docks for Rotterdam. Coastguard ETV Anglian Princess (2,258/02) arrived from Mounts Bay and berthed alongside the County Wharf to load stores and carry out a crew change. P&O cargo ferry European Seaway (22,986/91) came out of dry-dock and berthed on the Queens Wharf. Union Topaz sailed for Par to load clay there for Belgium.
