CHAIRMAN of the Yeovil Town Independent Supporters' Association, Mark Kelly, has congratulated Glovers boss Gary Johnson and the players on giving Liverpool a real run for their money in the FA Cup Third Round tie at Huish Park last Sunday.
"Although it was disappointing to lose I don't think anybody let Yeovil down," he said. "All the players gave it their best shot and to hold Liverpool for 70 minutes is no mean feat.
"I hope Yeovil can now go on and get promotion to the Nationwide League Second Division."
And Mark added: "With all of the money gained by the club from the cup run and the match with Liverpool, I hope a decent chunk of it lands in Gary's hands to strengthen the side."
