PUBS and clubs around the area were packed to the rafters with football crazy supporters who wanted to watch the match.
The Westland Leisure Complex in Yeovil was busy with several hundred customers and they also had the chance to buy one of the special souvenir programmes produced by the Huish Park outfit for the big game.
But there were busy pubs across town with fans glued to the television screens willing their Yeovil heroes on.
Kevin Berkley, landlord of the Westminster pub in Westminster Street, Yeovil, said: "Even though it was a shame that Yeovil lost - they put on a tremendous show and everyone should be proud of their performance.
"There was a great atmosphere in the pub and although Yeovil lost we still had a party because of the way they played."
