Yeovil Town quickly put the thoughts of Liverpool and possible FA Cup giant-killing behind them when they reported back for training at Huish Park on Tuesday (writes Steve Sowden).
The Glovers were given the day off on Monday following their gallant battle with the Merseysiders the previous day. But once they returned to Huish Park on Tuesday they began to focus on their forthcoming Nationwide League Division Three fixture with Rochdale at Huish Park this Saturday.
After the excitement of the FA Cup it is now back to league action and Johnson wants to see his players return to winning ways following two successive Nationwide League defeats against Kidderminster Harriers and Swansea City.
Yeovil boss Gary Johnson said: "The players are getting focussed for Rochdale after the disappointment of Liverpool. The Rochdale game is a big game for us because we want to get back into those top three positions.
"This game will need a different mentality to the Liverpool match. We will need more mental toughness."
And he added that while the match with Liverpool was like having a 'cream cake', the game with Rochdale, and with no disrespect intended, was going back to the 'bread and butter' of football.
Yeovil go into the game without suspended duo Colin Pluck and Jake Edwards, but are hoping that Paul Terry -- who went off against Liverpool following a nasty whack to his kneecap -- will be okay to face Rochdale. Johnson said yesterday (Wednesday): "We'll know about Paul in the next day or so, but there isn't anything untoward with the injury."
