TWO Moors Primary School in Tiverton has been commended for the improvements it has made in recent years in its recently published OFSTEAD report.
In the first study into the school since 1998, OFSTEAD inspectors congratulated the school for providing good value for money and improving in many areas under the leadership head teacher Roy Kerrigan.
The report, published on Christmas Eve, gave positive comments to both pupils and staff.
It said: "Staff work very effectively as a united team and have a strong commitment to ensuring that all pupils receive a good quality of education that develops the full potential of each individual."
It found that standards have steadily improved and by the end of year 6, pupils achieve the required level in all subjects or above.
