POLICE are reminding pub-goers in Chard and Ilminster to watch their drinks following a serious sexual assault on a local woman shortly before Christmas.
The woman, who believes one of her drinks was spiked, was atacked on her way home from a girl's night out.
A nationwide increase in sex attacks involving spiked drinks has prompted local police to put out an all year round warning to revellers.
Sgt Rob Smith told the News both men and women can fall victim to such attacks when in pubs and clubs.
