PROSTATE cancer sufferers and their partners are invited to attend a support group meeting in Taunton later this month.
The Somerset Prostate Cancer Support Association provides information and help to sufferers and their families on all aspects of the disease.
At the meeting on Wednesday, January 21, Ute Brookman, a nutritional therapist at the Bristol Cancer Help Centre, will be the guest speaker and will discuss the merits of a correct diet for cancer patients.
The session takes place at the ROAB Club in Priory Bridge Road at 2.30pm and all are welcome.
Peter Loader, of the association, said: "Awareness is another priority of the group.
"Informed patients are better placed to advise our sons and grandsons on how to recognise this cancer early and practise a preventative lifestyle."
