A SCHEME in Cornwall which aims to boost children's self-esteem and confidence is appealing for volunteer helpers.
The Pyramid Trust has run clubs in primary schools across the county for the past four years.
It gives children the chance to play games and try out new activities which can boost their confidence in the classroom and outside school.
Volunteers are now being sought to help run clubs in the Bodmin, Liskeard, St Austell and Saltash areas.
Volunteers do not need any formal qualifications and full training will be provided.
Petrina Missons, the Pyramid Trust Co-ordinator for Cornwall, said: 'We are looking for people who want to share their talents and skills or find ones they never knew existed and who want to make a real difference to a child's life.'
Anyone interested can contact the Child & Family Services, Old County Hall, Truro, Cornwall.
