Taunton Town's top scorer Antony Lynch has become a target for Dr Martens League Premier Division outfit Bath City.
Lynch, a £3,000 buy from Tiverton Town early last year, has been in good form this season.
City watched him play against Clevedon Town last Saturday (Dec 27) but Lynch, along with the rest of the team, was disappointing.
"The supporters brought him here, so it would be unfair of us to sell him," said Taunton manager Russell Musker.
"We would have to ask them what they think. Anyway, he's happy here - I don't think he would want to move."
Taunton have a match at Wordsworth Drive this Wednesday (Jan 7) when they play Gloucester City in the league (7.45pm).
