Jon Cox won division two and the monthly medal at Praa Sands Golf Club with an excellent net 57 closely followed by Chuck Berry with net 59.

Helen Carson carded a brilliant 40 points to win the ladies bring and win, well in front of second placed Anna Harry with 33 points while third place was secured by Sarah Blight with 28 points. Every player won a prize and all the ladies enjoyed a lovely Christmas meal and party in the clubhouse afterwards.

Congratulations to Sarah Blight for winning her first medal with a fine net 68.

The Wednesday nine-hole Stableford was won by Anna Harry with a good 20 points, Jennifer Chambers was second with 18 points and Ann Seabrook third with 16 points. Anna also won the putting with 16 strokes.

Roy Hillyar took over from Tom Hayward as Chief Ogre at the OGRES annual meeting, Christmas meal on Wednesday. His second-in-command will be Bob Quigley.

Colin Cratchley won the weekly Stableford with 33 points with Chris Cox-Webber a close second with 32 points.

The quiz on Friday night was won by Julie Wilson and Jane Richardson with Dave Phillips and Francis Vickerstaffe in second place.

There is an all day Stableford for all club members on Boxing Day and the ladies play a stableford on Saturday. The men will play the Old Year Four Ball on Sunday.
