YEOVIL Town chairman and chief executive John Fry has revealed that his love of fishing has helped him stand the test of time at Huish Park.
Mr Fry, who has not always been Mr Popular with the supporters since he took over the role in 1996, said he has had to be patient.
"You can't run before you can walk in this game even though you think you can - I thought you could when I first became chairman," he said.
"But I quickly learnt that it is all about building and contrary to what some people might think I do believe that all the managers and head coaches that have been here during my time have done their bit for the good the club.
"But my other hobby is fishing and you have got to be patient - and being patient is something you have to be in football."
