FORMER Yeovil Town managers have also sent their messages of congratulations to Huish Park.
Colin Addison, who steered the Glovers to the runners-up spot two seasons ago in the Conference, said: "I always thought it was only a matter of time before Yeovil made it.
"We almost managed it in my time there and Gary Johnson has taken things on to yet another higher level. I can see the team doing very well in Division Three."
David Webb, who took the club full-time when he was appointed manager in the latter stages of the 1999-2000 season, said: "Gary Johnson and the team will take all the plaudits and rightly so, but it was the vision of three men - Jon Goddard-Watts, John Fry and Norman Hayward - who also made it happen."
Colin Lippiatt, who served as head coach during the late 1990s, added: "In a nutshell I'm delighted for the supporters and John Fry.
"They always say the best team wins the league and crumbs Yeovil are most definitely the best team."
While Mike Hughes, who led a successful Glovers team in the early 1970s, added: "It is brilliant. Everybody has worked so hard and the club deserve to go up."
