Pupils from Sithney School enjoyed a trip to the seaside on Monday - without even leaving the comfort of their classrooms.
Youngsters from the infant class came face to face with a variety of sea creatures including starfish and hermit crabs, thanks to a visit from the Blue Reef Aquarium in Newquay.
The aquarium's Rockpool Roadshow aims to bring the wonders of the marine world into schools, allowing youngsters the opportunity to enjoy close encounters with everything from shrimps and sea anenomes to shellfish.
The seashore is one of the new topics being covered by infants at Sithney this term.
