A Visit Historic Redruth leaflet is to be distributed throughout Cornwall and parts of Devon in an effort to boost tourism to the area.
The eye-catching yellow leaflet has been funded by local business and the Mayor's Charity. It should hit home to visitors the fact that Redruth has a diverse range of museums and exhibitions and most of them are free.
Town mayor, Sue Fowler, said: "Hopefully visitors will be encouraged to come and visit Redruth and see for themselves what a great town it is."
The leaflet - which lists Redruth Old Cornwall Society Museum, The Cornwall Centre in Alma Place, The Tregellas Tapestries in Market Way, The Murdoch Flyer and Murdoch House as just some of the free attractions - also promotes the town's website.
Tourists will be encouraged to visit the town by logging-on prior to their visit. The leaflet also advertises the free parking - available before 10am and after 4pm.
