BRIDGWATER Town will be aiming to end a run of seven years without a first-team trophy when they tackle Brislington in the Screwfix Direct League Les Philips Cup final at Melksham on Saturday (3pm).
Although the reserves have lifted both the Somerset Senior and League KO Cups once apiece during those seven years, the last time town's first team won anything was in the 1995-96 season, when they were first-division champions and took the county Senior Cup as well.
See this week's Mercury back page for photos of team members and report.
