RAMRAIDERS crashed through armour plated glass and grabbed £800 worth of stock - including an air rifle - from a shop window last week.
A car reversed through the window of Top Togs in Holyrood Street, Chard, just before 1am last Thursday (April 24), shattering the 10mm thick glass.
A security grille behind the window display remained intact, however, protecting the rest of the store's stock of leisure wear and sports items.
Three people have been arrested on suspicion of burglary and taking a vehicle without consent, a police spokesman said.
