BOOKMAKER David Pipe - father of National Hunt racehorse trainer Martin Pipe - died in Taunton's Musgrove Park Hospital on Tuesday (March 19) aged 77.
He had been ill for some time and was unable to watch the Cheltenham Festival.
He was well-known in racing circles and established the stables from which his son became so successful.
The funeral is at Culmstock Church on Monday at 2pm followed by burial at Culmstock cemetery. Donations in lieu of flowers will go to the Injured Jockeys' Fund.
