Yeovil Town manager Gary Johnson has revealed that Tommy Schram will not be returning to Huish Park.
Schram, who was pretty impressive during his recent spell at Yeovil, returned home to Denmark a few weeks ago to ponder his future.
Johnson said that he wanted Schram to sign for the club, but said this week that the player's failure to return spelt bad news on the move.
"Even if he wanted to play for us I think it is too late for him to come back now," he said. "It's not the sort of commitment I would have hoped for."
Johnson added, however, he was hoping to have talks with experienced striker Kim Grant to make his stay at Huish Park permanent.
The gaffer also said that he was still looking to bring in new players, but he dismissed suggestions that he would go for Farnborough midfielder Garry Patterson or one of his old Kettering starlets, Tarkan Mustafa, now at Rushden and Diamonds, who are both believed to be leaving their respective clubs.
But everything seems to depend on what happens at boardroom level with growing speculation about a takeover bid led by former director Jon Goddard-Watts.
