A DISTURBING spate of robberies and assaults has taken place in Bridgwater - over just two weeks.
An unprovoked attack on an elderly man, a robbery which saw a pensioner dragged along the ground, and an audacious bag snatch from a Luxborough Road home have all shaken the town.
At first glance the suspects in all three incidents seem similar but the police say they are not as yet treating them as connected.
