A PARKING rise of just 20p has made accidents in a Chard residential area inevitable, it is claimed.
Charges at the South Somerset District COuncil owned Crowshute House car park have risen from 50p to 70p, causing many motorists to park on nearby roads at Mitchell Gardens.
Brian Elphick, chairman of Mitchell Gardens Resident' Association, said the hike means an accident is now almost inevitable.
