LOCAL spots of paradise featuring wonderful water features, fantastic displays of flora and some mouth-watering vegetables were descended upon with delight by the judges of Kerrier Homes Trust Ltd's annual garden competition.
A number of customers of the company living in towns and villages across Kerrier including Camborne, Redruth, Helston, Mullion, Illogan and Ruan Minor all proudly entered their wonderful, and sometimes wacky, gardens into the contest this year.
A huge range of imaginative displays had been created by the enthusiastic gardeners including hand-made statues, intricate water features, talented topiary and some colourful pots and hanging baskets. The judges also had the pleasure of meeting an extremely large family of gnomes and garden ornaments on their visit to one alternative garden in Camborne.
