Tenants from Cornwall county council's farms estate have had another successful show season taking the top honours at local, county and national level.
Michael and Jenny Colwell of Laity Farm, Redruth, won supreme champion with their winning Jersey Quintrell Ultramarine at Stithians Show. Close behind were Colin and Jenny Christophers of Trenerry Farm, St Allen, with their Ayrshire called Rosehill Black Velour winning reserve supreme champion.
This follows success for the same two tenants at the Royal Show at Stoneleigh, Warwickshire, where they took top honours in their respective breed classes, and the Royal Cornwall show where Colin and Jenny won supreme dairy champion and Michael and Jenny won the Jersey champion.
