A Helston teenager died on Sunday after being struck by a car as he tried to cross Clodgey Lane.
Keith Harris, 19, of Pine Close, was in collision with a silver Ford Mondeo at the entrance to the close at around 1.15pm. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The car driver, believed to be a woman from Portsmouth, and her passengers, were shaken and distressed but uninjured.
Flowers were placed at the scene this week in tribute to Mr Harris, who is understood to have lived in Pine Close with his parents, Norman and Margaret, for around three years.
The family moved to Helston from the Lizard, where some family members are still living.
