Taunton Under-16s will go head to head with Premier Division clubs West Bromwich Albion and Birmingham this season after entering the Midland Junior Premier League.
The side, managed by Tim Bull and Dan Rosario, will face West Brom, Birmingham, Rugby Utd, Tamworth, Nuneaton Borough, Tipton Town, Gloucester City, Racing Club Warwick, Sutton Coldfield, Worcester City, Kettering Town, Evesham, Redditch Utd, Yate Town.
The league covers age groups from U-12 to 17 and was set-up to provide a steping stone between professional club academies and junior league football.
Taunton Town's other youth sides -- U-13s, 14s and 15s -- will not compete in the Midland League but have entered their respective cup competitions.
