A Wellington business destroyed in a recent fire should be back up and running at its Corn Hill site by October, its owner has said.

Dennis King, chairman of Wellington Chamber of Commerce, lost his home and one of his King's Cycles businesses when his property in Corn Hill burnt to the ground a month ago.

But, despite being left with nothing but the clothes he was standing in, he has temporarily transferred his shop to the old bakery across the road, found somewhere to live and is determined to get things back up and running in the Corn Hill shop by the end of October.
