The Royal Cornwall Museum, Truro, will be hosting an exhibition with a difference over the coming seven weeks.
The history of the Pendennis Motorcycle and Light Car Club will be on display, which will include a selection of competition and road motorcycles, silver cups, programmes and much more, which is likely to draw large amounts of people to see this one-off exhibition, the first of its kind in the museum, to celebrate the club's 75 years.
Sammy Miller has loaned a 1936 AJS R7 346 race bike, which should be a big draw, from his museum in New Milton. This machine is the same model on which works AJS rider George Rowley set the lap record at the Pendennis Castle races in 1936.
Club members, past and present, and guests are invited to a special preview evening this Friday at 6.30 pm and it is hoped that Rancher Stevens, founder member of the club, will open the exhibition.
Public viewing will start this Saturday through until October 8. Admission free.
